"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! "I only stayed here for 2 nights and it was the largest hotel room of the trip- and included a pretty big fridge and the tv had CNN- BUT the room decor was really dated, there was some sort of sticky spot in between the 2 twin beds that clearly someone had spilled something, and I didn’t love the THREE attempts at an upsell- 2 for a better room and 1 for “enhanced cleaning” the check-in person tried when I checked in."
