We booked Natureland Efes because it wasn't like a traditional city hotel and we weren't disappointed. The location is superb, with beautiful views all around. It's a very peaceful place (apart from the occasional barking dogs) and a great base to explore Ephesus and the local area. Our hostess was very helpful and welcoming, the pool was excellent, the apartment was comfortable and clean and we looked forward to breakfast on the terrace every morning.

It's fair to say this is the best hotel I've stayed in anywhere. It's a beautiful old stone building that has an historically furnished interior. Because it's stone, it's naturally cooling (but there is working air conditioning, if needed). The breakfast terrace has beautiful views and is covered, so it provides shade and fresh air. I'm never impressed by Spanish peaches - which is all we get in the UK. They're dry and tasteless - conform only to some senseless size standard so supermarkets can pack them less expensively. What's this got to do with this hotel ?
