"There was no top sheet on the bed, the floor was sticky, there was only one washcloth and one of the hand towels was stained. The pooland hot tub were closed but you could see scum on the pool water. There were people hanging out in the parking lot who were not guests (lots of homeless in the area) and the front taff had friends hanging out in the lobby with them. The "breakfast" was a sack lunch bag with clementine, two Great Value snack bars, and one Tampico orange drink (for two people). The place did not seem safe or clean."

"Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only issue in bathroom was now towel rack, there was one at one time, but it had not been replaced. Otherwise our room was great. Staff were very friendly and theyprovidedus with2 drink coubons for the bar from 5 to 7 pm and 2 breakfast coupons. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, various juices, cereal & milk, and coffee. They probide a free USAToday paper and plenty of seating area for breakfast. Pool was not operational during our stay. They had uncovered it but had not cleaned it yet, water was green. Would suggest if you are going to uncover it that it should be cleaned right away, was not an appealing sight. Overall it is a nice hotel."

"This place has become our home away from home. Super close to Washburn University. Safe, clean, well lit. Always our first choice when staying in Topeka."

"The night we checked in, I called Wyndam to complain about the facilities and everyone else. The staff was uninterested and took several hours to get answers or resolutions - which were often not resolved. There were only two plugs in the room, one of which was plugged into an extension cord. There were no USB plugs whatsoever. The carpet both in the room and the hallways appeared to be dirty and very worn. The majority of the hotel was shut down - three restaurants, etc., the salon, whatever."

"Hello, when we arrived at the hotel and walked in it was like a ghost town. I stood there looking around wondering who was going to check me in as I stood there your employee walked out with a straight face and had no personality at all. The beds were uncomfortably and rhe the toilet wouldn’t flush good and the walls were paper thin so I got to listen to the guy in the room next to me snore all night. "

"Dog deposit was $40 per dog...a bit much and the two dogs were angels. Water pressure was Very low with dirt in the tub."

"The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. This hotel is exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Also nice to stretch our legs for an easy walk through the park to Red Robin for dinner. "

"Normally we can make do wherever! We travel alot and have stayed in the best and camped out in the worst. This was among the worst. It has a very dirty feel. It smells...dirty. The people staying there, lives there and that usually tells the story. I wouldn't stay again. Ever. The gal who checked us in couldnt see! She had lost her hlasses- bless her heart. But she was 2 inches away from the screen and the the keyboard. It took a very long time to check in. Just dont stay"
