The accommodation was pleasant. The staff were very helpful and the onsen was wonderful. The little extras made the stay even better, gift in the fridge, fresh water each day, free ice cream and yakult when using the onsen, the manga library and storing our bags post stay before we caught our train. Only thing to improve was the dark curtains that are dated to help brighten the place.

Great Hot Spring Inn, Convenient Station Location

Great carbonated hot spring in the basement, open through the night on weekdays. We loved the free nighttime ramen service and the inn's close proximity to the JR Koriyama Shinkansen Station (access is via a covered walkway from the station, very handy for rainy or snowy conditions). They were unfortunately very strict about the check-out time of 10 AM and wanted to charge us 1,000 yen per person per hour for late check-out.

Family rooms are spacious but take into account that no futons are provided for primary school children - they will have to share with parents. Parking possibility is limited: we were sent to a nearby parking but after playing at the hotel we still had to pay extra to be able to exit.
