"My rating of 5 stars based on knowing I was getting what I was booking. I was flying early the next morning and wanted a stay that was cheap and included breakfast and shuttle to the airport. "The hotel was in a great location close to the harbour which made easily accessible to our 10 hour komodo tour. Hotel staff was very friendly which made our stay even better. "

"Special place on Sereya. The staff here were superb. Puk Alfonso at the bar was excellent and made great cocktails and always served with a smile. Grace in the restaurant was also great. An injury was treated effectively and quickly by staff Jeffrey and Richard. Great service all round. Beach is great and having bangalows right on the beach is a real nice. A top stay for 4 days"

"The 2 bedroom villa we got was right on the beach and extremely comfortable! Plataran prides itself for old world luxury and it never fails to deliver! We were thoroughly spoilt by the Plataran team and can’t wait to go back!"

"Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Only one drawback: It was a bit confusing entering the cafe/restaurant area for dinner & breakfast because there was nobody at front to greet me, show me to a table and give me a menu. It was almost 10 mins after I sat down before a waiting staff member came over. Otherwise, I would rate the hotel as “good”."

"Basic room, nice staffs and good location. But. They allow smokers to smoke on the top floor patio which causes the entire building to smell like cigs. Even during the Breakfast hours, they allow smoking resulting in second hand smoking for breakfast. There's no wifi. Towels are dingy. Door has a gap which allows unruly tourists noise and cigarette smells to come in. We requested early breakfast box the day before in the morning but we did not get any as the cook did not show up.
