"Our room was cleaned twice a day. Staff was always nice and friendly. The resort is quiet, well maintained, and lovely with an open beach to watch sunsets. Buffet breakfast offer lots of options including native food dishes and an omelette station every morning. There is also a swimming up bar at the pool that serve good cocktail drinks. "Basic room, nice staffs and good location. But. They allow smokers to smoke on the top floor patio which causes the entire building to smell like cigs. Even during the Breakfast hours, they allow smoking resulting in second hand smoking for breakfast. There's no wifi. Towels are dingy. Door has a gap which allows unruly tourists noise and cigarette smells to come in. We requested early breakfast box the day before in the morning but we did not get any as the cook did not show up. "The 2 bedroom villa we got was right on the beach and extremely comfortable! Plataran prides itself for old world luxury and it never fails to deliver! We were thoroughly spoilt by the Plataran team and can’t wait to go back!"

"Special place on Sereya. The staff here were superb. Puk Alfonso at the bar was excellent and made great cocktails and always served with a smile. Grace in the restaurant was also great.
