When we pulled up, I thought this was an abandoned hotel and thought I may have been scammed. The lobby was decent, but the door leading into the hotel to our room did not lock. And our room did not have a chain or metal flip bar to double lock the door.

This hotel is NOT the property pictured on Expedia website or the direct hotel website. It is old, dirty and did not feel safe. The A/C was loud, the carpets were all stained, the walls in the room had cracks and chips. The exterior was very old with weeds everywhere and the parking lot had potholes.

To be honest I never leave reviews, but this was probably the grossest hotel/room that I have stayed in as an adult. My son was playing in a baseball tournament and we missed out on staying with the team since that hotel was sold out, we booked this one since it was right next door. There is absolutely a reason that one was sold out and one literally looked abandoned. The hotel smells gross, a combination of smoky/old/stale. The carpet in the hallways and around the common areas is stained, dirty, and even coming up in places. Stains on the walls and hallways. The room was not much better, definitely dingy doors and kind of icky but the bathroom was nasty. Actually so gross underneath the sink had brown stains that were clearly indicating that they pay no attention to cleaning important areas. I am absolutely embarrassed that I paid the amount of money that I did for this stay. We checked in after 9PM and left pretty much as quickly as we could at 6:30AM. I would have left immediately if there was another option. I paid over $130 for a night and I would not stay here again if they paid me to. My son (12) told me this morning we should have just slept in our car. I would highly HIGHLY suggest staying elsewhere.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The building is an older establishment and maintaining a hotel in this day and age is a financial challenge, however the staff here are hard working and doing their best to provide a save and comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean and there always seem to be a number of guests staying which is always a good sign. The pool was clean and well maintained.

I reserved room online and I was under impression that they were pet friendly and late night arriving she informed me that no pets even though sight speaks of highly about how they do They refunded my 50 $ but the room they wouldn't refund due to rules (not personal). They offered to verify with Expedia but had to refund thru them that Baymont wasn't responsible. Now everyone is tight on money so I got left to leave with 2 dogs and bags with money on hold so I couldn't afford another room so I'm dead of mist rain I got to walk with nowhere to go. We slept outside about froze thank God my dogs like to cuddle with me. Called Expedia for refund and they told me that not % of the first night but the entire night. I never made it any further than desk so nobody had to clean room nothing so no cost to the big businesses and cost the poor man (matter of speech) I think this is unfair that due to advertising and not correcting the filter that I applied and left a disabled person and 2 dogs certified on street with no money wasn't even allowed to be in lobby to try call it was misting 30 degrees mist rain Il stated that they state in person that many do allow support animals but not them. I stated well Expedia and Hotel .com advertising false inconvenient money and people security and financial issues for some. I was informed that that was the attached business is not responsible that me losing 60$ hen fixed income and obviously needed for personal reason I just ask fix webst

I was misled about the swimming pool—it was filthy and closed for maintenance during my stay. The exterior of the hotel was unkempt, with a strong, unpleasant odor, and people were smoking right outside the building entrances. Inside, the carpets in both the hallways and rooms were heavily stained. I had booked two rooms, and both had broken or missing safety locks on the doors. The beds were uncomfortable, and the towel racks were coming loose from the walls. There were exposed TV cables, and the wall had been painted around the television without removing it, leaving an unprofessional finish. The chairs were stained, and the floor tiles were cracked and hazardous. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel. While the staff were courteous and tried their best, it's unfortunate they have to manage such a poorly maintained property. The housekeeping team appeared to be doing their job, but the hotel itself looked almost abandoned—especially from the outside. Even the bathtub had been painted over, and the paint was already starting to crack.
