Staff not around at all wasn’t welcomed properly at all. Showers moldy room had bad smell and air conditioning kept turning on and off. Was very dissatisfied and dissappointed

beautiful hotel

These rooms are incredible- 4 star feel for 2 star price- the pool was cool and refreshing, but there was no shade so it was hard to stay in too long. Must rent a motorbike or get rides in this area though. There is no convenience store close by but it is a nice retreat if you arent looking to be in the main area. The resort across the street ( I believe a Hyatt) let us use their beach one day though. We rented a motorbike to see the island which the hotel helped us with. It was a big change after staying near Lamai beach ( the best area and very walkable)- this is closer to chaweng beach (15 min drive) which was the second best. The restaurant food is delicious so that was great to have at hand- they close at 6pm so we ordered early for later if we were staying in for dinner. This room was so comfortable and luxurious and every room has a great pool view, we had pool access which was so nice if it got too hot.

Der Aufenthalt in Maryoo Hotel hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Pool beeindruckend und die Lage angenehm. Man konnte das Hotel zu Fuß, per Roller oder mit Taxi erreichen und bis zur nächsten Stadt oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren nicht sehr weit. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen .

We loved our stay here! The staff were extremely friendly and the place had a real community, hospitality feel. We got here right after Thailand opened up again after Covid, and the hotel had been closed for two years. Because of this, there were some slight cosmetic things that they need to fix, but this didn’t affect our stay at all and I’m sure within the next couple months those things will be upgraded. They helped us rent a scooter for 200BhT a day and answered any questions we had. The room is a great space. Bed was quite firm. Pool was wonderful. Random note: this property is like five minutes from the airport. An employee told us it should’ve costed 50bht for a taxi to take us to this hotel. They wanted to charge us 500bht for this ride, but we negotiated to 350bht. If you’re coming here via air, I would ask the hotel to arrange a pick up, it will probably be much cheaper.

Der var ingen andre gæster udover os. Vi tror måske at det har noget at gøre med corona virus. Poolen var ikke særlig ren og heller ikke i særlig god stand. Hele hotellet trængte til en kærlig hånd og 200 liter maling. Ellers så var det godt personale og fin beliggenhed til prisen.

Odalarda telefon yok, istek yapmayınca oda temizliği yapılmıyor. Vadedilen, parasını ödediğimiz okyanuz manzaralı ve küceyli odayı vermediler. Erken checkin yapmak için ekstra para istendi. Odalarda kaza ile kırılan kül tablası şampuanlık için yüksek miktarda para yansıtılıyor. Neden tek kullanımlık değil anlamış değilim. Fotoğraflar aldatıcı. Plaja yakın değil. Araç olmadan en yakın plaja bile gidilmiyor ve kendi servisleri de yok. Motor kiralaması yapılıyor ancak o da dışarda kiralanan fiyatın üç katı. İngilizce bilen çalışan yetersiz, derdinizi anlatamıyorsunuz. Akşam vakti yardımcı olabilecek kimse yok. Bizim için kötü bir deneyim oldu, hiç memnun kalmadık ve tavsiye etmiyoruz.

Stayed here for a whole month and had no complaints. It's great value for money and in general a nice place to stay. It's not a 5 star hotel nor try to be. The location is a bit remote so a scooter is needed. The rooms are huge and clean. In general the hotel needs a bit of TLC but nothing major. Clean pool and the best food I've had in the whole island. I ate more at the hotel then in restaurants since its cheaper and better food. They're service minded and take care of you if anything is needed. Thank you for a great stay

Un hôtel au top !

L’hôtel est super, le personnel reflète la qualité de l’hôtel (gentil, serviable, à l’écoute). Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés. Le seul petit souci est qu’il est un peu loin de là ville (l’idéal est de louer ses scooter à moins de 10€ la journée pour se déplacer).

Super freundliches Personal & auch das Roller mieten hat super geklappt. Ist nicht direkt am Strand, aber mit dem Roller kommt man ja eh schnell überall hin & sieht mehr von der Insel. Es war super sauber, das Restaurant war auch sehr lecker und das Frühstück bietet auch was her. Können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Schönes Hotel mit großem Zimmer. Sehr nettes Personal. Lediglich die Einrichtung ist ein bisschen älter, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, da sie alles sauber halten.

Hotel with a view and a great pool.

Spent two very comfortable nights at this hotel. We had an ocean view room which had a fantastic view. The room was very clean with a great comfy bed. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We also ate dinners in the restaurant with tasty and well priced meals. The pool was also fab and refreshing after a hot day site seeing or shopping. The hotel staff are very helpful and English speaking- we had a leaky aircon which was fixed that day, and also booked s wonderful trip with them. The only down side for us was there were no shops near this hotel though Chaweng was a 5 minute taxi ride away. We would fully recommend this hotel.

Dangerous and depressing

(+) The room is large and spacious. The breakfast is surprisingly good. The staff is super friendly. (-) Everything was built with wood and it's rotting--including the safety railings on the third floor. We were concerned for the safety of our 2 year old because they looked sturdy but were no longer attached on multiple points due to rot. The windows in the stairwells are being held together with wire and the window panes are falling out of the wood casings. The pool was full of scum, but it looked like they were getting the pump fixed... The linens are washed onsite in brackish water and stink. The beds and pillows aren't aired out and stink! The beds and pillows are also uncomfortable. We booked 7 days, but left after 4 and forfeited our prepaid nights because we just couldn't take it any longer :( They we're kind enough to pay for our taxi to the new hotel.
