"I’ve been traveling Thailand for 3 weeks and Avani Koh Lanta Resort has been my favorite experience so far. From the extremely kind and helpful staff to the quality of the rooms to the resort grounds, it was all top notch and made my stay elevated beyond expectations. "This hotel is with walking distance from the pier so it’s very convenient to get to. We got a room that has pool access. That was very nice since we can lounge on the patio or just jump into the pool. There’s another pool facing the beach so the view is very nice from there. The breakfast has limited offerings and was located in a different building from the hotel but still close. And now to the beds…they had one of the hardest beds I’ve ever slept in. I’ve traveled all over Asia and firm beds are normal. But the bed on our room was so hard that it made our first night so uncomfortable. Besides that one issue, it’s a nice hotel to stay for a short time."

"This hotel is really excellent. There is a major drawback though. The night clubs are down the beach and whilst there is notice that there will be noise from 9.30-2.30am it is actually until 4am. It is incredibly loud and whilst the bamboo rooms are great to stay in there is no sound proofing so if you are looking for a relaxing stay this is great during the day, but at night it is a real challenge."

"The hotel location is absolutely prime. One of the best views I’ve seen throughout the holiday to wake up to. I found that staff were not accommodating at all. They also charged us for a taxi to Tonsai, but when the taxi arrived they also used the taxi to transport gas cylinders and run a hotel errand (I thought this was cheeky since we paid for the private taxi). All in all, the views and the beach more made up for the staff!"

"Everything was great but the bartender was very off putting, he literally shock his head at me when I ordered a diet coke. Everyone else was amazing and I tried to see if it was just me but my friend got the same treatment. So I tried again the next day and again he acted as though I was bothering him to do his job. I try to be super polite and empathetic to wait staff as someone who has worked in that line of work I know it can be stressful. Anyway I love everything and everyone else at this property but that experience really bummed me out and sort tarnished the whole thing."

"Our room was very nice with a view of the pool. The bathroom is spacious and the area felt very clean. Breakfast was amazing with so many options. Staff was great, would stay here again. "

"Stay was overall amazing, great location and beautiful private beach and great view from room. Only issue is no access to any store apart from the hotels minimart. Apart from that the food was great but a bit expensive."
