Cannot recommend Morakot Lanta highly enough!

The family who own and run the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The whole place is spotless and we simply couldn’t fault it. We were able to check in early and after a very early start that day plus a long ferry journey it was really appreciated. Pool/beach towels provided each day and room cleaned to a high standard.

De ansatte var kjempe hyggelige, ærlige og hjelpsomme. Hotellet har alt man trenger, sykkelutleie, basseng, bar, litt mat og rene rom. De hjelper deg også med bestilling av taxi, turer etc. 5 min gange til Strand med masse butikker og restauranter i nærheten. Vil anbefale videre, og komme tilbake!

Vi var väldigt nöjda över vår vistelse på Morakot. Vi förlängde med 4 nätter då vi trivdes så bra, allt var toppen! Personalen är underbar, hjälpsamma och alltid glada. Goya gör fantastisk god mat, vi åt mestadels på hotellet just på grund av att man verkligen fick äkta thailändsk mat som var gjord av kärlek. Vi kommer absolut komma tillbaka!

Lite av en besvikelse men bra läge

Morakot blev lite av en besvikelse efter det goda betyget vi läste att det fått. Endast en kvinna av personalen kunde engelska vilket ledde till många missförstånd som slutade med att vi blev riktigt irriterade. Vi hade 3 olika rum, i ett av dem kryllade det med myror. Hela korridoren är öppen utåt och upplyst 24-7 vilket ledde till enormt mycket insekter vilket inte är så nice. Centrum i Koh Lanta var helt dött men Long Beach (som låg 5 min promenad från hotellet) var nog den vackraste stranden vi sett. Kristallklart vatten och magiska solnedgångar. Bra restauranger på stranden också.

Amazing 2 night stay on Koh Lanta, long beach was stunning, especially the sunset. Hotel is clean, comfortable, good value for money and had amazing wifi. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they can book any transport you need and offer a motorbike hire service. They also do laundry which came out perfect. The pool was nice and clean, space to lounge at the poolside and it is in the sun all day for bathing. There isn't a whole lot to see around the hotel but I recommend walking down to the beach, it takes about 5 minutes at a steady pace. If you walk out of the hotel to the main road and turn right there's a mini mart and an ATM. If you turn left at the main road and walk for 10 minutes you'll find May's Kitchen, the food there is amazing and so cheap. May is lovely and they give a great service. There is also the Irish Bar next door which is great for a few beers, a game of pool and a pub quiz. Overall a rural, unspoilt, beautiful place made even better with this accommodation. 5/5!

Had a great stay at morakot. Was suppose to stay one nights but extended our stay for another 6 nights. Great location, close to long beach and only about 5 minutes with the scooter to salad an. Will absolutely come back in the future. Good price as well. Recommended!

Great location! Room was really nice. Sink in bathroom was leaking but otherwise very nice hotel and pool. Definitely will be nicer when the trees grow more, as they were just recently planted.

Nettes Hotel, die Zimmer sind in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Schöner, sauberer Pool. zuvorkommende hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Scooter können direkt beim Hotel für einen guten Preis gemietet werden. Waren mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden!

Good stay!

New hotel, quite central. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was in good condition. Lovely pool and you could rent towels for the beach for free. The food service was a bit slow since they had to get it delivered from somewhere else but when it did arrive it was very tasty.
