"What a lovely place ☺️ We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night,the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly...

"Loved the pub and Simon was super helpful. Best nights sleep ever in the best bed with lovely soft pillows. Food very good, especially breakfast (full Yorkshire breakfast) overall such great find. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly and lovely atmosphere."
