Kisumu ber!
Everything about my stay at the Imperial Hotel Express was wonderful. Nestled in the middle of everything, this property is extremely convenient to anyone visiting Kisumu. Everything I needed to take care of was within 3 blocks. Staff are always available to answer questions and provide assistance. Security is ever present at the front door. Breakfast is good. Room TV wasn't great (only 8 stations!) and I was told there were no other stations available although the menu lists about 300 satellite stations. No biggie, because the nightclub around the corner was hopping. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved everything about this hotel. It was conveniently located. I felt safe walking around the city. The hotel was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. Breakfast was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Worth noting that this is b&b only, no restaurant, although there are good places to eat nearby - staff will advise you. Staff amazingly helpful and friendly.

The hotel security is very poor. As a result our door was forced open when we were sleeping and a attempted robbery took place. The hotel receptionist did not care or willing to help. No general manager around. No police around . Hotel refuse to provide CCTV or assist in any police investigation.

Property was excellent. Unfortunately it is the 2nd or 3rd time ive booked this facility through expedia and everytime, the hotel does not have my confirmation and I typically have to wait 20-30 minutes and make international calls to get help

Right in the heart of the city is this beautiful property, not far from the lake, the airport is 10-15minutes away, it's a really nice hotel.

Trusty reliable clean modern and efficient business hotel. Breakfast is simple and great. Rooms are air conditioned crisp clean and come with the best shower and water pressure in kisumu. Home away from home!

Its a nice Hotel, the price is to high, the rooms are to small but very clean, the staff friendly, the first night we had a loud noise in the roof me , my husband and son couldnt sleep well, but in the morning we went Down to the front desk and immediately they went to my sons room to ask what is the problem and change the room to the second floor, and we slept much better. The breakfast is good and fruits, cereal, coffe, milk, bread, rice, beans, sausages. The area is commercial. Crossing the street they have a super market.

Nice hotel in town center
Nice hotel that is newer, good for the price. On a busy and loud street, I asked for a quite room and it was. Breakfast is ok. Not much nearby in regards to food in the evening.

In general, the hotel was good; however, the nights were annoyingly noisy stemming from neighborhood bars and clubs. These bars and clubs played LOUD music all night long! I had a difficult time getting to sleep and staying asleep. I don't know the management can do about this.

This is a good mid-priced hotel in Kisumu.
Hotel in the center of town, very clean, efficient, with a Breakfast very well prepared and with variety. The rooms are clean, if a little clinical. From the check in clientele, it is a business persons hotel during the week. There is a club on the side facing the street, so ask for one opposite as the music goes well into the night. Breakfast was a full one served buffet style. Beds were clean and neat as was the bathroom. Excellent stay. Staff was excellent. If one is American, please speak slowly and do not intimidate them. There is (unfortunately) security. They are strict at first, but once they know you, they let you through without examination (!!).

Modern City Centre Hotel
This is a brand new city centre hotel in great condition with clean well equipped rooms for a short stay. It is an "Express" hotel, thus the rooms are more compact than some other hotels, and wardrobe space limited. However, the bathroom facilities are first class. As is security. The staff are fantastic and quick to respond to requests.

Not a good hotel for business travel.
No hair dryer or gym. Gym access in a sister hotel and is only available 8 am to 6 pm. The breakfast was terrible. Otherwise it is quiet and clean and centrally located.

Prima hotel voor 1 nacht
Het is heel schoon, veilig en comfortabel. De kamers zijn wel erg klein voor 2 personen met koffers. Verder is het belangrijk om te weten dat je alleen ontbijt kunt krijgen. Prima hotel als je op doorreis bent. We hebben er 1 nacht geslapen met kinderen. Voor een langer verblijf zou ik iets anders zoeken.
