"An excellent guesthouse! We stayed here on the way back from Jokulsarlon. kirkjubæjarklaustur is only about 10min drive away, with lots of dining options. The room was spacious and clean. We had a room with a private bathroom, which was really convenient. The room stayed really warm, and we couldn't keep the window open wide enough to stay cool during the night... Breakfast was excellent! "

"Delightful property with amazing views out onto lakes, Icelandic ponies and scenery. Restaurant had great choices allowing guests to choose cheaper options or something a bit more special. I chose a bit more special and it was delicious and well presented. Staff are friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend. Our heated towel rail was marked out of order which was a bit disappointing so hope the hotel can get this fixed for next guest. "
