"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"Great welcome from a very friendly and knowledgeable young man. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The traffic was loud day and at night, we were given ear plugs but they weren’t particularly useful against the noise. That is the only negative, beautiful house , well presented and everything is thought of. "

"What an amazing 5* experience! The Fingal was everything I wanted it to be. A surprise overnight stay for my other half for his 70th birthday and it did not dissapoint. We stayed in the Luxury Duplex suite and it was lovey as the pictures on the website. Evening meal was delicious and the best breakfast I've had in a long long time. "Checkin was fine, receptionist made sure we'd keyed in our car reg to their parking iPad to avoid a penalty charge. Room 20 was a good size, recently renovated, a bit similar to a Premier - so it's pretty good. The only small niggle was the shower didn't have much pressure, but still a 5 star stay. Bar next door is friendly and inexpensive, breakfast was really good. All in all great value for money. "
