"If you want a bed for a night and don’t want anything super fancy in the area, choose here. The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable. You really can’t argue for the price. Loved it, I would definitely stay again next time I’m visiting friends in Mansfield."

The evening meal that we had there was also very good. Nice play area for children. I would add the pub had air conditioning, fantastic in the hot weather enjoying a nice glass of wine. Lots of space in the pub, good layout with different rooms and in my opinion a big bonus plenty of parking. ...

"The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"

"The staff were very welcoming, helpful and interacted with customers warmly, we were watching while having a drink and meal in the bar as well as our own experience. The room looked liked it had been redecorated fairly recently and was clean. Two tower fans were provided which helped as the sun shone into our room in the day. "Our three person room with a double bed and single was a nice size for three people to share. Room was clean and the night staff were most helpful with directions and recommendations for parking. Day staff were nice and pleasant to speak to but when it came to actioning our request for an additional towel at 9am, as the room only had two, it was only given at 11pm by the night staff who had just found the note. Breakfast was standard."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate. In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!"

"The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay"

The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...
