"Our corner room had an amazing view of the mountains and gondola. The room was very comfortable and everything was very clean. I have to give a shoutout to the dining room hostess, Shaila, as her service was outstanding. She is clearly a hard worker and always greeted us each morning for breakfast, making us feel very welcome. The lobby of the hotel was beautifully decorated and the front wall of glass really gave us a great view outside."

"Have stayed at this hotel quite a few years ago and remember liking the peaceful location. It’s a pleasant 20-25 minute walk along the lake into Queenstown township, which means it’s close enough to be comfortable and far away enough to be quiet. Just bear in mind the last 10 minutes of the walk back to the hotel are extremely steep. However, this works wonders in walking off your dinner on the way home. The lake view rooms with balcony are especially nice and relaxing. Only issue we experienced was a potent smell of sewerage at certain times of the day when the balcony doors were open."

"I’ve booked this place a few times during my stay in Queenstown. Apartment is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful. My room had a big smart TV on an adjustable arm which is a bonus. I love the location, everything is a few minutes drive away."

"Lovely friendly front desk. Short walk into town- downhill. Steeper walk back !! Place exactly as described. Nice lake view. Well equipped room and very spacious. Free car parking some under cover. We had a good stay."

"Our stay at Kamana Lakehouse was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, beautiful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and attention to detail made us feel so well looked after. They really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The property itself is stunning, with spectacular mountain and lake views, beautiful rooms and such a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring Queenstown. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay and genuinely didn’t want to leave! Kamana Lakehouse was a highlight of our New Zealand holiday, and we cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for making it so special. We would return in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend it more highly! ❤️"
