"Hotel convenient for Alexander stadium. Staff helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was good for dinner and the breakfast was a great selection and quality. Unfortunately our tv or air conditioning didn’t work in the bedroom which let it down. Plus neighbours were in and out of the rooms slamming doors all night (not the hotels fault - but really noisy - we were by an outside door also so more footfall passing by) Fantastic to have a pool and additional facilities, but the pool area...

"Absolutely spot on. We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size). "Beautifully maintained property, quite stunning from a distance. The room and bathroom were excellent, spacious and with every facility. The inclusive breakfast was brilliant value included within the room rate. The receptionist when we arrived Sat evening was great and knew what he was doing. They are obviously training new staff which did lead to long waits at the bar and the reception in the morning but all in all everyone was kind and helpful. "No bottle(s)of water in bedroom and one pack of 2 biscuits to share. Not enough coffee in bedroom (2 sachets of normal coffee which you need both to make one coffee). Staff friendly. Had a evening meal which was nice and breakfast was ok"

"Possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Bed was comfy, difficult for two of us to get dressed in the room at the same time 😂. Basic common area amenities, mention of a grab and go breakfast but no sign of one. Paid coffee machine in lobby. Good venue in nice part of Brum close to pretty St Paul’s Square. Probably won’t stay there again, but it was ok."

"This is a great hotel, affordable and very much worth every penny. The rooms are comfortable and well-sized. Great bathroom facilities as well and fully stocked. Also comes with a huge tv in each room, which is a plus, and a good size desk for work or other matters. The staff were also brilliant; Amz was especially helpful - when I wanted to change rooms because my lights made an odd sound, he personally showed me the other room options and allowed me to pick one which I appreciated. "No Ventilation in toilets not even the room was. No tv. No remote controller was present for tele. Facilities like microwave or freezer either common or share should provided. Voices and noises from next rooms were disturbing."
