"This is a great hotel, affordable and very much worth every penny. The rooms are comfortable and well-sized. Great bathroom facilities as well and fully stocked. Also comes with a huge tv in each room, which is a plus, and a good size desk for work or other matters. "Possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Bed was comfy, difficult for two of us to get dressed in the room at the same time 😂. Basic common area amenities, mention of a grab and go breakfast but no sign of one. Paid coffee machine in lobby. Good venue in nice part of Brum close to pretty St Paul’s Square. Probably won’t stay there again, but it was ok."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the ibis Styles Birmingham Centre for one night and, considering we only paid £46.69, we were genuinely impressed. The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. "Absolutely spot on. We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size).
