The swimming pool was mediocre, there is visible damage to the ceiling in some areas, certainly felt like this place was not "resort" material. Didn't use anything from their loaner program, but it's cool that they have things like blenders and small electrics you can borrow for the kitchenettes. The kids loved the pool. The adults preferred to hang in the lobby where it was quiet."

"For $180 for a single night, I expected a much better experience and at minimum for the hotel's basic amenities to function properly. Unfortunately, several important features of the room were not working, which made the stay extremely disappointing and not worth the cost. The TV did not function, the air conditioning only blew warm air and made the room uncomfortable, and the room telephone was also unusable. On top of that, the ice machine was out of service as well. Paying this much for one...

"The room we stayed in was an upgrade from a standard to business class. Wonderful surprise. We met two really good waitresses Monica and Rowena in the lounge where we had the best ribs I've ever had!! This is a extremely well built hotel. Soundproof rooms, so quiet. We will be staying here again! Highly recommend."

"Still under construction and maintenance, housekeeping only cleans room when you check out. The floors were so dirty you didn't want to take off your shoes. Maybe once renovations are complete it will be OK, but no where do they let you know in advance that it is under renovations or maintenance."

"The front staff (William) was absolutely amazing! We had an issue with the AC in one of our rooms and he was professional and so helpful! The rooms were very clean, the hot-tub did have some peeling, and there are no USB ports in the room (bring an adapter)."

"We stayed here during a dance competition weekend and were honestly so pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great with lots of different food options, and the pool was really nice. The entire stay exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again if ever in Red Deer."
