Great location wonderful property great proximity to the town of Kihei. Walk from your room right to the beach or the pool. good swimming and walking beach, the room was simple but very nice. It had all the amenities to I'm going to smoothie or Margarita to making a waffle for your breakfast would stay here again!

We had a side tower view which was amazing. We saw an amazing sunset every night. Unit had outstanding amenities. From cookware to utensils to spices and dishes, towels, etc.. All our needs were met. I want to rent this unit again!

Sugar Beach Resort is in a good location. Nice beach in very open not crowded area. Heated pool is good. There is a sandwich shop near the office which was ideal. Room 507 was ok - new washer and dryer installed the day we arrived which was great as we had to wash all the bedding on the bed including quilt and all pillow protectors as everything had a strong musty smell. The shower is good but the grout needs replacing as dirty in places. The back of the bed needs a good clean as very dusty. Had to clean all the chairs and table on the balcony. The glass patio balcony doors were dirty. Good wifi. Ironing board ripped and the cheap toaster and iron need replacing. Bedroom affected by noise from the main road and the damn cockerel which crows from 2am onwards. Having rented out a vacation property myself I would have expected better overall.

Air conditioner was a hit and miss, intermittently worked, towels / bathroom rug was very dirty / aged - not usable at all, hot tub was out of service, shower tiles appeared dirty - showered with flip flops, the trails to the beach and beach view saved the over all score. Overall, “ok” but didn’t go to Maui for the hotel so trip was just fine.

Right on the beach! Condo was nicely furnished, they provided beach chairs and ice chest which was really convenient. Great location, ready saves to dining, shopping and activities. Initially we had an issue, we paid for an ocean view but were given a partial view. After being given the run around we were moved to an ocean view. Minor issues with the appliances but those were quickly fixed. Overall great experience would recommend. Reasonably priced, family friendly.

The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was so nice. The condo was perfect for two people and and we enjoyed it. It wasn’t quite as clean as I would’ve liked but it felt comfortable.
