"The location of Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is unbeatable, just a short walk to Shinjuku Station and right by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the stay itself did not match the price or four-star rating. The mattress was extremely stiff and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The bedding setup was also frustrating, constantly coming apart during the night. The room and bathroom felt very outdated, with poor lighting that was dim and flickering, and housekeeping missed obvious issues like this during multiple cleanings. Cleanliness was also a concern, with visible hair and mold-like buildup in the bathroom. While the location was great, the overall experience lacked the comfort and attention to detail expected at this level. For the price, I would not stay here again."

"This hotel is far from everything. It is not cleaned during your stay, the cleaner just comes in and gives bottled water and new towels. The outlets for charging devices do not work. The beds are uncomfortable. "

"Beware of room size. I felt claustrophobic and practically no room for 2 medium suitcases. My fault that I didn’t check the square footage before booking. This was my third visit to Tokyo, so don’t know what the average room sizes are. Breakfast was average at best. Staff helpful but had limited English proficiency which made it difficult to communicate. "

"The staff were always very helpful. They were able to have our large luggage transferred to the airport 4 days ahead of our departure so we didn’t have to take it all with us to Kyoto. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Tokyo. All the toiletries were a bonus too! "
