"We stayed here from June 24- Jul 7. The staff was great. They were all very friendly and helpful. I utilized the bell captain desk to make the limousine bus reservation and the concierge to make reservations for restaurants around Tokyo and they were both excellent. The only encounter I felt a little off putting was from the male receptionist who checked me in. He was not rude, maybe he was tired?
Our room was as expected. Housekeeping did a great job. No complaints there. We got fresh towels and our amenities were stocked daily. The water pressure in the shower was very good.
The coin laundry service was also great. The laundry room was well kept and very clean. It was very convenient to have that service connected to our TV in our room so we can watch in real time which machines were available and how much time was left on them. So convenient.
We also utilized the restaurant on the main floor for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although the service was great, we only ate breakfast twice there (thank goodness we didn't pay for the entirety of our stay) since it was the same foods daily. It was a buffet set up but two days in a row of the same choices was enough for us. We instead ate at several coffee shops near the hotel. We chose a la carte for dinner and was not disappointed. They had a wonderful steak set.
The hotel is conveniently located across from the Ikebukuro station which houses Lumine and Tobu department stores. It is a safe location"
