Toro River was an absolutely unique experience. We celebrated my birthday and our first wedding anniversary there, and we could not have had a more special and immersive experience. Our room was right on the river, and we were able to see many crocodiles and hippos from our own balcony. The room itself was wonderful, extremely spacious, with a very high ceiling and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the river. The amenities were excellent, the room was extremely well equipped, and the level of luxury throughout the lodge was truly impressive. The outdoor shower made the experience even more unique. Showering under the moon and stars, surrounded by nature and with such a beautiful view, was an unforgettable experience. The staff were impeccable, and the food was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. A very special thank you to our driver, William, and our ranger, Brian, for giving us unforgettable moments. Thank you for searching tirelessly for the Big Five and for sharing interesting facts and curiosities with us throughout every game drive. A big thank you as well to everyone in the kitchen and all the waiters, especially Sipiue, for making our stay so special. Thank you, Toro River, for every single moment. We will never forget this experience.
