This was our second stay at this property. The views from our room were beautiful. It is so nice to hear the sea in the morning. The staff are lovely. There is plenty of places to eat or have a massage close by.

Beautiful beach location for view but quite remote for anything else. Beach not really accessible to tan Pool water TOO hot not refreshing at all. Room quite large A/C good Strange they charge for a glass of water at the restaurant not special mineral water just drinkable water stupidity

Loved this hotel, from the kindness and efficiincy of the whole staff, to the quality of the bedroom equipments , everything was tip top shape .. perfect for a short stay , 4 , 5 days max as the area has a limited amount of activities the only bemol would be the village of Candidas itself that do not provide interesting shopping facilities.

We have never been to Chandidasa before but what a beautiful place. Hotel Genngong was perfect, right on the water where the local fisherman are and you can swim off the beach. Close enough to walk to plenty of places to eat, although the onsite restaurant is very good too. Warung Moka a stones throw away is definitely worth a stop, the food is beautiful and is family run. Rooms a little tired however clean and compared to others in the area much better. Staff are very attentive and so helpful. Would highly recommend this place, it’s a piece of paradise.

Peaceful Paradise

After arriving late, I grabbed a small bite at the restaurant. I felt nourished and safe. I woke in the morning to an epic view and continued to be wonderfully surprised at the location, the people, and the care. I would definitely come back again.

Second time at the Hotel Genggong and booked again for next year. Why? Peace, calm, views, gardens, beach access, pool and fantastic food (especially the thick pancakes) and most of all friendly well trained staff. A real home from home.

Beautiful, ocean views and quiet

Beautiful seaside with ocean views, delicious breakfast included, in a quiet area of Bali but a short walk to warungs. You can get a local fisherman to take you snorkelling. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We could not fault the place and will return.

Lovely boutique hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel with lovely gardens and pool. Our room on the 3rd floor had the most amazing views. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the staff kind and friendly. Candidasa is much quieter and relaxing than other areas in Bali. The only negative was the beach in front of the hotel is very small and diffucult to walk along, it is not possible to walk along the beach to other restaurants.

Beautiful ocean front view, quiet hotel with an excellent staff. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable, plenty pillows which was appreciated. There is an on sight restaurant but there are other options in walking distance. Breakfast was included and was very good except for the thin pancakes, opt for the fluffy ones. Vincent's restaurant is excellent and they will pick you up on request. Lots to do in the area, temples, virgin beach, blue lagoon, etc. the hotel can arrange a driver if you don’t have transportation.
