Overall, an excellent stay. The hotel staff was helpful, and the hotel was clean and relatively well maintained. The hotel location is near the Kaohsiung light rail station, which is convenient. There's a convenience store right next door, which lets us buy food and coffee easily when we wake up in the middle of the night due to jet lag.

Rooms were clean and modern. Our room was exceptional size. Bathroom was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. They provide degertent in their laundry room. Location is center to tourist sites, public transportation.

The breakfast was good, with a decent variety of options. There were only two washing machines and two dryers, but the dryers worked extremely well. They got very hot and dried my clothes quickly, which was a big plus. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. However, the soundproofing could be improved. After 11:00 p.m., I could clearly hear noise from the room upstairs. The biggest issue was the bathroom design. There is no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the room, and the mirror directly faces the bathroom area. Since this room is designed for four or more people, it becomes very awkward to get dressed after taking a shower because everyone in the room can see you through the mirror. This is a very poor design choice. In addition, the shower area is very small, and the water drains very slowly. Every time I took a shower, water would accumulate on the floor, making the bathroom uncomfortable to use.

Room is old. Bathroom set-up is very strange. I got the "City View" room - end up over looking OK mart across the street. The room safe didn't work. Lobby smells like bathroom.. Plus side is the location. It's next to the arts and pier area. We were there for Christmas, and there was a Christmas market right in front. Easy access to the green line tram. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Hotel is very busy - lots of tour groups.

The hotel is lovely, clean, great service, and has dining on site. The location is very convenient as the light rail and Pier 2 are right outside the hotel. My only complaint is the modern design bathroom. I am giving it 4 stars because there’s no door to the bathroom. Although the shower and toilet are separated by a stall, there is no privacy and the noise from the bathroom can wake up other people in the room. Making it very awkward if you’re sharing the room with other people.
