"This hotel was spectacular! Centrally located, 1-2 blocks from 5th Ave & 10th Ave, the hospitality was top tier, all inclusive, room service at 1am, upgraded to a king suite with a balcony overlooking the ocean! Request corner rooms 2234 or 2334 u will not be disappointed!! the restaurants were good, I was pleasantly suprised bu the buffet! Breakfast lunch & Dinner was all fresh fruit seafood, veggies, anything you want. Restaurant hostess Miriam remember our rooms ans the restaurant wait staff Sergio remembered our food allergies! As soon as I sat down an empty glass, Lucas or Demetrio were right there waiting to refill it. We didnt have to ask for ANYTHING while here. Even saw a few staff in the city after their shift & they were just as polite in public as they were at the Resort. I had such a good time that I dont even want to try another hotel! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable that Ive ever slept on! "

"The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The river flowing through the grounds made for a great place to walk, explore, and travel into the park. I loved how close we were to the beach. The fact that there was wildlife and plants integrated into the paths between the hotel and beach was incredible. I highly recommend Xcaret park as well…this park is in its own class of beauty and has so many options. You could easily spend days there. The food was not good. You get what you pay for. I pretty much stuck to what I knew. Breakfast was fine and the beer was beer so that’s about all I needed. It is worth going into town for better food. "

"Hi, I enjoyed my stay. The resort and grounds are nice. The buffet food is meh but was able to find enough. The al a carte restaurants were better but tough to get reservations. They were all full even though they are only actually ~30% full when we got there. The beach is rocky unless you go down to Tulum resort. I am suffering from a lot of bites on my legs I assume were sand fleas from the beach. The entertainment was good on a couple nights, not so much on others. Nightlife is done a 11:30. No place to congregate or get drinks after that. Pay for the upgrade to use the other resorts as well or may get bored. Couple better restaurants at the other resorts. It was generally a good vacation but could use some improvements."

"Rooms are solid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Finding staff willing to provide a good service was the biggest challenge. From getting golf carts to pick you up to follow through on requests, many areas and different people failed to deliver. We booked because las year we stayed at the Playa Mujeres property, and it didn’t live up to that. "

"The staff were pretty consistently rude for most of the week we were there. When we would ask for food at restaurants where they were serving at buffets they were consistently rude or acted like we were annoying them or like they didn’t want to be there. It was pretty shocking considering what we paid to be there. We wondered if they were treating us that way because we were Mexican-American and not White. No matter the reason, it was not OK. If you’re looking for a beach, this is not the place for you. The beach is very small, most of it is Rocky, and there was lots of sarga while we were there. We most definitely will never return here."

"Clean room, great staff, good food, typical all inclusive drinks. I would not recommend the “more inclusive” option. It felt like every meal and experience had “upgrade” options that you had to pay for which took away from the convenience of the all inclusive. After check in we wanted to sit by the pool but the place where we needed to get towels was closed. We were looking forward to the catamaran experience but it had to get cancelled due to weather. That was understandable. But it was not understandable that they drove us to the location to then inform us it was cancelled. When we arrived at the beach where we were supposed to go on the boat, every decent option costed money. We paid 150 dollars for table and chairs for the day. We set up transportation at 5pm to return to the hotel. We rented towels at the beach and we did not see they needed to be returned at 4:30pm. It felt wrong that they had the pick up time 30 min after towels needed to be returned. We almost got charged 10 dollars per towel but luckily got our money back. It felt like everything was trying to be up sold and we didn’t appreciate that. We expressed our concerns but they did nothing at all and just tried to explain how they were right. We were very disappointed in the customer service and their un willingness to make the situation better. On arrival we weren’t able to make a dinner reservation because that closed before check in time which seems wrong. "
