"The light in the bathroom went out. Had to shower in the dark. Staff didn't fix it in the two night stay and I wasn't offered a discount or apologies. Disappointed."

Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence
"The room and property was great. The location was beautiful with a nice walking path. Only feedback is the pillows were not very comfortable, they seemed old, and it was definitely quite easy to hear the hallway noise, as well as noise from floors above."

Kansas City Marriott Downtown
"For the price of the room breakfast should be comped at least partway. $25 for a buffet is absolutely ridiculous. You don't even get complimentary coffee except for the tiny pod in the room. I know cheap hotels that give you free breakfast"
