"Staying here was amazing - a very good ryokan for the cost, it wasn't bougie but it was still amazing. The room is a good size, the futons and comfy and the view with the garden is excellent. Also, the staff were lovely, she spoke amazing English and was very friendly and helpful. She even had a map printed out showing what is in the nearby town (i.e. where to eat. laundromat and public transport). "I chose the Japanese Style King room, and after 3 nights, I have to say, I picked the wrong room. It is not comfortable. It's not easy to navigate the room with no chairs or regular table. The bed is low on the floor and the sitting is on the floor, so expect to stand up from the floor a lot if you choose this room. The room is 375 sq ft (which is not bad), but it feels very small and crammed. The bathroom also feels small. There is no room to place your suitcases, so we ended up placing them...
