"Staying here was amazing - a very good ryokan for the cost, it wasn't bougie but it was still amazing. The room is a good size, the futons and comfy and the view with the garden is excellent. Also, the staff were lovely, she spoke amazing English and was very friendly and helpful. She even had a map printed out showing what is in the nearby town (i.e. where to eat. laundromat and public transport). This was extremely helpful and showed that the staff care about our needs, and also walked us...

"Beautiful view of the river, cherry blossoms, and a quiet neighborhood. A perfect way to truly enjoy the stunning beauty of Kanazawa. The staff were gracious, kind, and patient. They were accommodating and even called a taxi for us when we were leaving. "

"We found this a very comfortable place to stay in Kanazawa. The location was convenient, especially for the train station. We were able to walk everywhere. The unit was well-equipped and comfortable. We had a little bit of trouble figuring out the washer/dryer (never could figure out how to choose a wash temperature), but aside from that, we had no problems. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. "

"This was our favorite hotel from our entire trip to Japan. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yuki (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly). The rooms were beautiful, and to top it all off, the hotel offered delicious complimentary udon noodles every night. They even sent us off with sweets to take to our next destination, which was such a thoughtful touch. An excellent experience overall. We absolutely loved Kanazawa."
