"The most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. The pool is great, but the beach is just to die for. Miles of empty beach in both directions from the hotel. We did however notice quite a few plots being developed nearby, so this might not continue. Staff were all great and helpful. The food was amazing. Devilled tuna and fresh Mahi Mahi were a favourites! One evening we went to a nearby beach and watched turtles lay their eggs and return to the sea. It was like...

"Blown away about how bad this was. I cant comprehend how it is possible to own a hotel like this and just totaly ruin it. Some of the worst service in Sri Lanka we experienced on our 14 days trip through the country. Breakfast, if you can call it that was so terrible we just stopped eating. The pictures are lying and the hotel is not what you think it is."

You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. "The owner greated us with a nice cold scented towel to wipe our faces and hands on, which was very welcoming after our hot journey and a refreshing iced tea. Our bedroom was lovely and big and spotless. A nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water. The top terrace was lovely with the sea views whilst eating great food. You could walk to the beach in 5 minutes where you can find lots of great restaurants."

"Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. However, signs leading to the hotel from the main road is not very clear. Google maps lead to a circuitous route. Need to upgrade the signs leading to the hotel in every junction and this is under hotel management. "
