"Honesty probably the best beach resort we have ever stayed at. The place is small and intimate; literally right on the beach. Such a relaxing environment. The staff are very friendly and personable. The food at restaurant was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka… and very reasonable prices for the quality. The sunsets on the beach were amazing. It’s a quiet area, with not much to do but chill and relax! Spend 4 or 5 days here and you will forget all your worries in life! Highly highly recommend...

"The hotel was substantially abandoned: the beach bar and restaurant featured in the Expedia listing had been demolished, and I saw only one staff member during my stay, a lady with slight English. When I left at 10.30 on Tuesday morning no-one was around.

"Vores ophold levede desværre ikke op til tidligere anmeldelser. Da vi ankom var der ingen til stede på ejendommen (ejeren ankom 30-45 min senere efter have ringet til ham). Den tilhørende “restaurant” havde nærmest intet på menu-kortet, men vi skulle alligevel betale fuld pris. Området fremstod generelt øde og forladt (måske pga. færre turister denne sæson).

"The property is located quite far from the main road and I'll be honest, the access road isn't great. But that being said, once you get there, you don't want to leave. "Wasn't very clean especially the bathroom. No where to place anything in the room, had to use floor. Poor lighting in room, only I of 3 lights worked. No toilet roll or soap provided, had to ask for toilet roll. No dustbin in room or bathroom. This is a homestay, not a hotel.
Breakfast was good and they attanged a scooter hire for me.
Sadly when I went to leave things turned nasty by both the father and son, claiming I needed to pay for the room and breakfast. I booked via Hotels.com a company...
