We paid more than USD 320 per night and we got nothing for that amount: No coffee in the room, no minibar, no body lotion, no iron, no bath robes, no gim, no shuttle services to the main city street. "A short lancha ride from Pana to Tzununa and you feel “off the beaten path”. Just about 1/4 mi Tuk-Tuk ride up the dirt road and you see a white, modern structure that occupies both sides of the street. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The views of the lake and volcanos are commanding. They spared no expense. Quality throughout. The patio made for a great meditation space (the unit had 2 yoga mats). The Starlink internet speed was blazing and without dead zones (perfect for digital nomads). The restaurant is stunning with a fantastic menu and Chef is world-class. Marcela (the owner) and Sebastian are super nice and helpful, assuring you have everything you need. You can also ask about the fungi academy that is walking distance to see the most interesting species of mushrooms. We will be back. It is the perfect getaway from the stressful world. Came back home maximally relaxed after staying at Aviva! "

"We were quite pleased to have found this eco hotel. It is basic but comfortable, quiet (except for the birds!) and clean. You can tell there is pride in the property. The staff are lovely and helpful (in Spanish mostly). If you ask, they will call a ferry for you to the private dock. The Mayan sauna and jacuzzi are a neat touch but you have to make a reservation and pay more to access. Kayaks are free to use (but go in the morning before the wind picks up). There is no hot water and beware the many stairs to get to your room. Breakfast was included and yummy."

"Beautiful property, ideal for R & R. Restaurant staff and chef were excellent and very accommodating to our dietary needs (mainly vegetarian). Rooms are very spacious with a nice balcony. Only downside was that there was no air-condition in our room."
