"I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable.
Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really...

"Although I only stayed one night this was enough to understand that the owners really care for their property and this translates to the service given. They were polite and courteous and even remembered our names which is a nice touch.
The food we had for dinner and breakfast was also delicious. "

It was a Saturday night and we thought it might be a tad noisy, but having been lively and buzzzing earlier, all was calm and quiet at 11pm and we had a really good night's sleep."
