We thoroughly enjoyed the Austin Springs Spa experience, but we were just as impressed with the hotel room itself! The Carnegie Hotel is a real jewel in Johnson City, standing out in its elegance and sophistication. The reception staff were friendly, courteous and attentive and we will definitely plan future visits.

Restaurant was wonderful for dinner & breakfast. The room was clean & comfortable. The only downside was the train coming through in the middle of the night multiple times so it was not a good night’s sleep.

Spacious rooms. Handsome decor in the public areas. Very affordable. Nobody builds hotels like this! For the price of plain vanilla you get beautiful sculpture , art , and leather chairs in the lobby anf other spaces including the restaurant where the waiters are young and happy.
