Overseas traveler from the US. This is located in a bit of an older part of town, but I thought it was still nice area and felt much more authentic and historical then some of the newer hotels. Very elegant and the room was good, no concerns at all. Service was excellent and friendly.

I already inform them for a special room for my honeymoon days but when I reached their they tilling me that not received anything from hotels.com about this request. Also, they give me a room which is soo noisy and the view of the rooms are 10ths of air condition . At the end, they promise to change the room but nothing happen till I checkout.

We stayed in the hotel for a single night waiting for our flight, it's a new one with new furniture. Looks clean from inside. We didn't try any of the facilities because the spa, the gym and the barbershop were closed overnight, so we can't give judgement regarding them. The room was clean, with nice decor and the hallways had subtle music upon leaving the elevator. The porters were nice and cooperative. The biggest flaw about that hotel is the receptionists. We dealt with 2 of them, a male and a female, both Saudis. The two of them were uncooperative and unfriendly reaching the point of rudeness. They didn't even greet us upon checking in and out, and when we asked them for a car to drive us to the airport they refused to neither provide one, nor to advise us about from where to get it. During check in ,we asked about a good restaurant to have dinner because we were starving after a long day, and again he said he knows none and refused to offer any help. If it wasn't for being tired, I would have gone to any surrounding hotel( numerous hotels are around them). Overall, if you ignore the bad attitude of the receptionists, it's an average place to stay in.
