"There were a few mistakes made at the desk when we checked in, but they were quickly remedied. The room was decent, but in need of improvements. Furniture was badly marked and in need of refinishing and the chairs were not comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but the fitted sheet was too small for the king size mattress. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was pleasant. The soaps provided seemed to be watered down. Access to the air conditioner was difficult and was very close to the ceiling. Checkout was a bit of a nightmare, as the staff were not trained to deal with changes, and when they phoned for help, the manager was not helpful and it took much longer than necessary. Parking was convenient and the hotel is conveniently situated and in close proximity to a few dining choices. The view of the mountains is so beautiful and breathtaking."

"This was a pleasant experience at the Overlander. All staff were very easy to interact with and quick with recommendations and local insight. Of particular note was Rishi at the front desk. He possesses exemplary customer service skills and is a very polite and mature representative of the property. Being outside of Jasper itself was a new thing for us, and we enjoyed the local trails and craft brewery nearby, while using it as a base for day trips. Breakfast quality and service were as awesome as the view, and at $20, it’s amazing value. Thanks for the great trip."

"Would not recommend room was extremely hot with heat off and windows open, also no hot water in the shower, Don’t stay here not worth it"

"Larger clean room but the bed mattress was not very comfortable and probably should be replaced as seemed to have a sunken in spot to side by the side table . Room clean . Bathroom size very good. The restaurant was very good food. Location excellent. "

"Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was updated wit a walk in shower and granite sink counter. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Would book again if we ever return to Jasper."

"Very nice property, clean, modern with a nice pub and restaurant downstairs. Was initially tempted to go with Tonquin Inn due to some price difference but after pulling up at TI and seeing what a dumpy place it was decided to spend a few extra coins and was so happy with my choice. Highly recommend for Jasper. The only my minor issue is their limited parking spaces. They will pay for city parking but you have to walk a few blocks . No big deal though."
