"We had a comfortable stay at Cobblestone. The front desk staff was wonderful & helpful. There is a nice trail nearby the hotel. We recommend Cobblestone & found it both affordable & of good value."
"The room was old and in questionable condition. The drapes did not open or close. There was no clock in the room and the front desk refused to supply one. There was an empty section of the room without a desk and seemingly served no purpose."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in North East (Erie) by IHG
4/10 Poor
"Great location for our trip from North Carolina to visit Niagara Falls. If you love hearing interstate traffic all night, this is the place for you. Also annoying were the other guests letting their doors slam shut (not the hotel's fault), the people above us walking heavily on their heels (also not the hotel's fault), the man snoring loudly in the adjacent room and listening to the TV from another room due to poor soundproofing in this hotel. Took a long time to check in due to waiting on the couple ahead of us having problems of some kind checking in and only one worker at the desk who seemed to be doing his best to resolve the problem. I was really needing a good night's sleep after driving 10 1/2 hours to get there, but 1-2 hours left me exhausted for our next day (today) at Niagara Falls. Due to that, we were only able to spend 3 1/2 hours and had to leave to find rest the next night (tonight) at the Holiday Inn Express on Grand Island. We must head west tomorrow to be at a graduation in Hillsdale, MI, so thanks for unintentionally limiting our one and only chance to spend the entire day at Niagara Falls."
"For 2 nights of our 3-day stay, we did not receive fresh linens or a cleaning service. Even though I complained at the front desk after Day 1, we didn't receive service on Day 2. Very disappointing. "
"Not a good stay. Asked for a roll in shower due to stability issues. Given a tub. When I went to try and get in the tub it was so slick I couldn't keep my feet from sliding the whole time.
TV didn't work. Called down to front desk to let them know wires were hanging from it unconnected. She had me keep trying the remote and then offered for me to come get a new remote. The remote WAS NOT the issue!!
Firm is an understatement for that bed. I couldn't even sleep. So hard I hurt in the morning.
Found several long blonde hairs. Not mine since mine is curly short and dark. I do tend to shed a lot and normally do a basic cleaning before I leave a room because of that. Not this time. I didn't even get a decent room to start off with. Maybe if I leave it messy they will actually clean it?
Oh and several chunks of the wall are missing and the floor tilts toward the bathroom. Due to my stability issues I'm quite sensitive to these things. This felt like walking in a carnival fun house or a pier and beam house in south Texas. IYKYK"
"Breakfast was good. The parking was fine the area around parking lot had some trash scattered throughout the grassy areas. Nice clean rooms no complaints on the accommodations. Staff were friendly. "
