We stayed in a small cabin in Colter Bay and it was the highlight of our trip which included going to Yellowstone. We chose this for it's convenient location on our way to Yellowstone, but we were so amazed by the very kind staff, how absolutely cute and charming and well maintained this over 100 year old cabin was and how romantic and memorable our night there was being among the trees. Plus the beds were so comfortable and the nearby store and restaurant were super convenient. It was a perfect stay!!
We had a very cozy cabin in the woods at our stay at Colter Village. The general store and the restaurant were within walking distance as was the park visitor center. It would’ve been nice if there had been a small refrigerator, but that was the only negative of the whole stay. I would definitely recommend staying at Colter Village. It was very unique and historical.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
Clean, good location . Rooms need a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster in them. Breakfast was very expensive every morning.
The cabin was very well-maintained, clean, and scenic. Our 3-bed room was spacious, and staffs were very friendly. On-site perks include a restaurant and convenience store. The only downside is that the walls are thin and let in noise.
We had a nice two nights here as a family of 5 with young children. It was spacious and nothing to fancy. It was close to many things in the park and we liked the amenities that was in Colter Bay!
Very cozy and the bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Our cabin was close to food and drinks and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
It's really nice that staff are available all the time. The historic cabins are neat to stay in and the location in the bay with a grocery store, eateries, marina, and visitor center was very convenient.
A little confusing finding property. Not as well marked in road sign as some properties Also, there is basically no water in the Bay, so pics on web site are deceiving. Cabin was great. And really enjoyed The Visitor's center, general store & restaurant
First impression wasn’t great but the nostalgic feel of the cabins was a cool vibe. A good nights rest on awesome bedding and a modern bath was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately marina was dry and had been since early August. Guests should have been made aware of this in advance and offered a free cancellation or discount on stay. Neither was done.
We had a cabin and it was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, and near all of the amenities. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The entire property was clean with restaurants, store, gas station, and visitors center. Located on Jackson lake with trails, a marina, and a swimming beach! By far one of the best places we have ever stayed on our travels.
