"The room was sparkling clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities were excellent from the cafe to the gym, from the kitchen to the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. The Ark is one of my favourite hotels, especially were it is has situated, ideal for the DLR, Tube, restaurants etc."

"The stay at the Lansbury was generally positive. Check-in was quite strict, we spent about three hours for that. I totally understand room can’t be ready upon arrival, regardless I completed check-in around 2:50 p.m. The property is well maintained, though certain areas may require attention."

"Checked in early. Nothing was explained about amenities, lift wasn’t explained we didn’t realise you had to use your key card to access the floor you wanted . Room was nice cleaning was ok could be better skirting board dusty head print marks in glass, bathroom stunk of sewers took a long while to clear. Overall hotel was nice good location"

"Very clean, quiet property, situated to transit station and other amenities, lots to see and do near canary wharf. Beautiful comfortable stay. Will definitely stay on my next visit. Rooms were clean and well kept. Staff were friendly."

"This stay was okay. If it wasn’t for the convenient train access I wasn’t too impressed. I expected more from a 5 star Novotel. They advertise early check in where available or with a fee; and upon arrival around 11:30am we were told it was simply not possible. Travelling with young kids I assumed check in would be as advertised and I was happy to pay a fee for the kids to rest… instead we went for lunch and had to nap in the lobby. Other than that, the hotel was okay on cleanliness, dated and the room needed a deep clean (stains on the carpet, calcium buildup in the bathroom, etc) The location is where it shines. Steps from the train, 10min walk into Greenwich and sightseeing, plenty of restaurants, grocery, and evening activities after a long day in London."
