"Ok. Here is a review to help people as I have seen some bad reviews. This property is not a $1500/night maldives room. It needs some TLC - some deck boards and railings are at end of life, as are some chairs. We stayed in the master suite and really liked the place. Water is crystal clear, master suite has the best fish viewing, owners are really friendly and eager to please, food and drinks are decent - fresh OJ for the tequila sunrise! "Our stay at Lula's was nothing short of wonderful! The hosts were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. The property is located perfectly on the edge of town...close enough to walk to town and far enough away to feel quiet and relaxing. The patio upstairs was a great place to unwind in the cool ocean breeze. We also loved having access to a guest kitchen complete with our own labeled drawer in the fridge."

"We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Oasis Bluff Beach! The staff made us feel at home and attended to our every need. Our room opened to the front deck overlooking the beach and ocean. What a view for our early morning coffee as well as for our evening cocktails...truly peaceful. "Kitchen was sparse. No coffee maker only espresso machine. We enjoyed our stay. Slept great.
Papaya restaurant nearby was our favorite. Staff in Merlin restaurant below the hotel was always friendly and greeted us with a wave and smile but never came over to take our order so on three different occasions we got up and went somewhere else. Is there a cultural thing we’re missing here ?"

"This was our first time living in a cottage on stilts over the crystal Caribbean and it was amazing. Beautiful sunsets off the dock down Saigon Bay each night. We brought our car but also used plentiful taxis and water taxis. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, professional but also personal. We will 100% stay here again. "
