"Great food choices with both local Maltese and international"

"It was a great stay. Room was very comfortable and clean at all times. We were upgraded to a higher suite which came as a pleasant surprise on arrival. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly which is a big positive for the hotel. A couple of points they can perhaps improve, we felt it can do with more activities for the kids. Usually resorts of this band run a kids club which was missing at this hotel. They had live music in the bar on thursday which was brilliant and very entertaining but...

"From the moment we stepped in, till we checked-out, we felt important. Customer service is above and beyond, from front desk, to the barman at the pool, we felt they were happy to be there and always wanted to make sure all was well. Breakfast is fantastic. Don’t hesitate, book it."

"This hotel is in a prime location, close to all the restaurants and site seeing, on a quiet street. Rooms are small but very clean property, friendly staff, and good breakfast."

"Avoid this hotel. The staff are amazing (from front desk to cleaning) but there is no pool at this hotel. The pool pictured is a public pool across the road that hotel guests have access to. Including the pool in the hotel pictures is misleading. There were constant power outages every day that affected the TV and wifi. Smoking in the room isn’t allowed but my room had a strong cigarette stench to the point of giving us headaches. It was disgusting. The location isn’t great, avoid Gzira all...

"Beautiful hotel in a great spot: ideal for exploring nearby Valletta with a shop and great little cafe a minute’s walk away. There is free tea/coffee/water throughout your stay and you can borrow beach towels if you venture to the coast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"Hotellets beliggenhet er bra og praktisk mtp basseng, kollektivtransport og byliv. Frokosten oppleves litt kaotisk. Mye mennesker, liten plass, ikke alltid nok kopper/krus/tallerkener, som gjør at man må vente en stund på dette. Frokosten er også ganske enkel. Personalet var hyggelige. Rengjøringen var bra, men de var sjeldent ferdige innen vi kom tilbake på hotellet rundt kl 14-15, kunne vaske så sent som 17-18 tiden som er upraktisk når man ofte er ute etter frokost og tilbake rundt denne...

"Excellent location near the harbour and Valletta is a short and inexpensive boat trip away. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was a buffet affair and was reasonable with a lot of choice. My only negative point is that the rooftop pool is also made available for public use so gets crowded very quickly. You have to be quick if you want a subbed…However there is an exclusive indoor pool with spa, steam room and sauna which we used a lot and enjoyed immensely....

The Expedia listing describes this as a luxurious, relaxing hotel with Mediterranean sea views, but in reality, there are no sea views - just city views. The pool areas are small, packed, and accompanied by loud music, making it difficult to relax. One night, we were awakened at 4:00 a.m. when the fire alarm sounded three times, requiring guests to evacuate. Although we later learned it was a technical issue, there was never a formal apology...
