"Good central position, nice and quiet rooms, comfortable bed just let down slightly by the staff. We hung both towels up for reuse but they took them anyway and only left one, asked early evening for a second towel but it didn’t turn up until the next morning. Breakfast was nice they don’t clear used plates etc away until your table is covered, not what I’d expect from a 5star hotel. "

"Good downtown location. Used the pool and hot tub both of which were nice. Our Ferry out the next day was 3.5 hours late so they let us leave our car in the parking garage (we had valet parking the previous day) all the next day at no additional cost. Cooked in the kitchenette but the dinner menu looked good. The washer/dryer did not work well so beware."

"One night stay. Very conveniently situated for the Bluebridge Ferry terminal. Having checked in and used the lift to our room we found we'd been allocated a room type that differed to the one we'd booked and paid forin advance. Reception was surprised that I wasn't happy with one double bed, even though I'd booked a room with two double beds. I had to insist on being moved."

"No Ocean view. Although the heater adjustment didn't work we were warm enough for a comfortable sleep."

"We arrived before normal check in time but were promised a call as soon as our room was ready and the hotel stored our bags. We never received the promised call so at 30 minutes after normal check in time we went back to the hotel to see if our room was now ready and had been for a while - no apology for not calling us as promised - room was not cleaned next day until after 4.00 so we had to wait until then to access and use the room - very unlike our previous experiences here "

"There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area i would not stay at this hotel again the friendly staff was probably the only thing that was worthwhile about the property i thought that i would have had a better experience at a motel six absolutely worthless! "

"Great location in centre of town handy to shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to find. Stay friendly. Rooms clean and tidy. Definitely recommend staying here."

"The hotel is located across the street from both the Train station and the Ferry Terminal making it very convenient if you have to take an early train or have a late ferry arriving into Wellington. The cleaniness leaves a lot to be desired. Our bathroom was filthy (specially the bathtub). We were so tired that we only used the sink to wash our face & hands. the toilet was OK. The room itselft was good too however one of the window panes were broken. I'm not sure if I'd go back again to this property."
