"This was our second trip to WG Lakes...this time the ground floor units had some very loud a/c units. It was not relaxing to sit outside. However, Miguel listened to our concern and was willing to change our room. No small task because there were many check outs that day. Busy. The food options are very limited if you don't have a car. The market is extremely overpriced assuming you would eat at restaurant. However the units have partial to full kitchens. The free shuttle to Universal was a nice perk this time. Overall a very relaxing vacay."

"Great staff! The rooms are very clean and in great condition. The environment is family-friendly, with a great pool area for kids. However, I suggest you call the hotel before making any reservations. The lazy river and water slides were closed during our stay, and I was not informed of this beforehand. That is why I am giving the amenities 2 stars."

"When we arrived the pool was pristine on Thursday.. by Monday I must say there was cigarette but and hair and oil in the pool. The staff was amazing I'm only blaming the disrespectful guests.. that I saw spilling drinks in the pool. We honestly loved the property and location.. We will definitely hopefully visit again.."

"My only issue is them overcharging my card twice for the hold of 75.00 and I was charged again after I left for 108.75 on Friday and I checked out the Monday before. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow. "

"I would not recommend this place at all. The room and surrounding areas were very dirty. The shower, toilet, and mini fridge were filthy, towels were stained, and overall cleanliness was extremely disappointing. Even after requesting for my room to be cleaned again the next morning, nothing was properly addressed. They only vacuumed and made the beds, while everything else remained dirty. I expected the room to look like the pictures and description shown online .. clean and well maintained .. but it was the complete opposite. What a shock. Not to mention the breakfast area: many items were out of stock according to the staff, and the employee handling the bread kept touching her AirPods while serving food and using the toaster. The ice machine also had mold around it. Very disappointing experience overall."
