"My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you donāt speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great. The ocean views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely stunning! The hotel has special access to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada which was super convenient for our family with young kids. The hotel offers many activities including massages in your room, canopy/zip line tours, snorkeling on Pink Island, and much more. We didnāt have time to take advantage of their activities but we will definitely be back since there is so much to explore. We loved Nosara and this hotel offers the best location for beach and town access and is one of the closest hotels to the ocean. We did have a few ants in the room and one spider in the bathroom but we saw less the longer we were there- but youāre also in the jungle! We saw more insects at our home in Los Angeles than we did here. This hotel was wonderful and Iām so glad we got to stay there for our first, but not the last, trip to Costa Rica!"
"Fantastic place, amazingly well managed, and wonderful staff. Intimate, all staff were amazing. We felt so well taken care of. Every detail was thought through. The place is a 2 min walk to the ocean through a beautiful forest, straight from the property- we were going in and out in swim suits. The beach is fantastic, for surfers especially. Highly recommend!"
"We loved this hideaway! Tucked in off a side road, itās peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sunset just a quick walk from the property. Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town.
The staff were so attentive and kind addressing all our needs. Onsite is a restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch or dinner.
I would stay here again and again!"
"We loved the hotel, however we were woken up by loud construction going on in the property each morning and our shade was broken in our room which was never addressed after we reported it several times. The only other thing is if you are going to this hotel DO NOT FLY INTO SJO. THE TRAFFIC IS DANGEROUS AND 5.5 hour drive. Expedia is at fault on this. They should not even have it as an alternative. Itās like wanting to go see the Alamo and they fly you into Dallas."
After visiting Nicoya Colonial Church, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Nicoya. Wander the parks or discover the area's countryside.
