"Excellent staff from front desk to rentals to cleaning staff, super clean facility. Even with all the wind causing leaves and such to fall in the pool, the staff was constantly cleaning. Breakfast was decent - quality of the cheeses and cold cuts was poor, in my opinion. However, there were many other options to choose from. We had a room with a view of the ocean, I think it's the Sunset room, and it was lovely. However, the bathrooms and rooms need a little bit of an upgrade, especially the bathroom. I'd definitely go to Tamarindo Diria again. Bonus! The extra pool across the street was soooo nice! Felt like a luxurious Vegas pool (complete with swim up bar)."
The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"There isn’t much to not like about this resort. It’s great for families, going with friends or even a work retreat. The bungalows are spacious and modern. The lighting is rather dim though which is hard for us older people! There are plenty of food choices and the buffet had a lot to choose from. The only negative food experience was the $99 wine pairing. It was truly horrible but everything else was so great, we didn’t remember that snafu for long. The staff were very professional and did their jobs well. Everything exuded luxury. The reliable shuttle service made you forget the property was huge. Super convenient. The beach and pools were definitely a highlight. I would without a doubt recommend this property to anyone."
"Our stay at the JW Marriott Resort Costa Rica exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, a spectacular pool, and breathtaking views that create the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every restaurant we visited served delicious food with excellent service, and there was a great variety of dining options to enjoy throughout our stay. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, walking along the beach, or enjoying the resort’s amenities, every experience felt first-class.
What truly sets this resort apart is the people. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel like valued guests.
If you’re looking for a luxury vacation in Costa Rica that combines beautiful scenery, outstanding service, and world-class amenities, the JW Marriott Resort Costa Rica is an exceptional choice. We can’t wait to return!"
"My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great. The ocean views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely stunning! The hotel has special access to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada which was super convenient for our family with young kids. The hotel offers many activities including massages in your room, canopy/zip line tours, snorkeling on Pink Island, and much more. We didn’t have time to take advantage of their activities but we will definitely be back since there is so much to explore. We loved Nosara and this hotel offers the best location for beach and town access and is one of the closest hotels to the ocean. We did have a few ants in the room and one spider in the bathroom but we saw less the longer we were there- but you’re also in the jungle! We saw more insects at our home in Los Angeles than we did here. This hotel was wonderful and I’m so glad we got to stay there for our first, but not the last, trip to Costa Rica!"
"Fantastic place, amazingly well managed, and wonderful staff. Intimate, all staff were amazing. We felt so well taken care of. Every detail was thought through. The place is a 2 min walk to the ocean through a beautiful forest, straight from the property- we were going in and out in swim suits. The beach is fantastic, for surfers especially. Highly recommend!"
"We loved this hideaway! Tucked in off a side road, it’s peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sunset just a quick walk from the property. Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town.
The staff were so attentive and kind addressing all our needs. Onsite is a restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch or dinner.
I would stay here again and again!"
