Pleasant stay with good facilities & Great food

We enjoyed our stay at The Park hotel, especially the food served at the Verandah restaurant and the fine dining in Aish was a exquisite experience which we would thoroughly recommend every guest to experience. The front desk staff, and others we spoke with were all pleasant and courteous.

Nice Hotel in the Heart of Hyderabad

Check in was fast and easy, even at 5 am. The bed was comfortable and the room had a great view of the lake. It was quite noisy between the very loud, live music by the pool and the festival on the street below. The location is very convenient for walking around the Hussain Sagar Lake.

Overall the rooms themselves are quite nice, I was upgraded to a residence suite that was nice. I did have a look at the luxury room and it seemed a but muggy and dirty, but the room I was in was really great! The main problem with this hotel is actually the design. It's in a sort of U shape so if you have an inner room, you open the window curtains and you're basically looking into other people's rooms, so there is pretty limited privacy. Also, the pool is sort of in the middle of the U so it doesn't get much sun, and there also aren't any sunloungers, it's all sitting tables, so not a great hotel if you're wanting to get some sun. Also, I requested to change to an outer facing room and every day I was there they said to come back the next day. It was pretty annoying, if they had just said from the beginning that I couldn't move, I could have unpacked and settled in but they kept saying I could xhange the next day. Overall it's quite a nice hotel though. I got it for £60/night and I've seen the rates vary a lot--I wouldn't pay more than what I paid.

Nice hotel, good location, but train you staff!!

Myself and my wife stayed for a week in their top floor Panoramic Suite and overall the hotel/room didn't disappoint, with a nice view of the Hussain Sagar lake! The breakfast buffet/restaurants and staff there were also excellent, particularly Ayush their new sous-chef, who we had the pleasure of getting to know! That said, and in the spirit of constructiveness!, then a bit more attention to detail would elevate this establishment!, for example: Checkin - when you see international passports (in our case Canadian and US) then you're front-desk staff should realize we've been travelling for ~20 hours, so don't make us wait any more time that necessary, since you just want a shower and to crash! ... we had to wait ~20 minutes and then produce our fully-paid hotels.com receipt since the checkin lady was ready to double charge my credit card! 🙄 Have way through our seven nights, our room keys suddenly stopped working?! My wife had to call multiple times to get what turned out to be a ~2 minute repair to the toilet-roll holder in our bathroom, in fact I ended up just finding a maintenance guy in the hallway! In room replenishments - minor nit, but if a guest uses a particular flavour of tea from the selection then wouldn't you think to replace that type, versus just fill up with more of what the guest (i.e. me!) did pick, duh?! Ultimately this is just a matter of basic guest experience training and most of their room staff seemed junior in that regard ...

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worthy of the 5-star hotels Our experience at The Park was shockingly bad. The first room we were given was dirty, old, and poorly maintained, and the two alternative rooms they showed us were even worse. There were stains on the bed linen, dust everywhere, and room service was so slow that we had to call multiple times just to get clean sheets. We had requested a baby crib well in advance, but the hotel had only one crib, and that too with a filthy, unhygienic mattress. They took it “for cleaning” and returned the same dirty crib, leaving us no option but to let our baby sleep with us. We had initially booked a stay there for 10 days but ended up leaving the hotel the very next day!!
