Staff was efficient, professional, personable, thoughtful. Facilities were lovely, Breakfast was excellent.
Upon arrival we enjoyed a wonderful greeting and tour from Hayden. The property was everything we were looking for in a getaway stay. All of the staff throughout our stay made us feel very welcome. The dining experience was fantastic. I'm not sure I will ever order duck again unless Chef Dane is in the kitchen and the dining staff for the evening made sure we were taken care of. Thanks again to Michelle for the breakfast prior to our departure. We cant wait to come back !!!
A perfect stay from minute one! Scott greeted us, gave us a great tour and we settled in. We made a reservation for dinner and it was an absolutely amazing tasting menu. A beautiful room, excellent service and the food…I cannot say enough about the dishes! The chef is a genius!
Our room was comfortable, one of the best beds we have ever slept in. Breakfast in the Flower Room started the morning on a high note.
Beautiful grounds, great people! For a last minute choice, we hit the jackpot. I highly recommend the lovely trip on 81N of you are in the Valley. We will be back!

Everything was lovely! The room was beautiful! The service was amazing. Beautiful location! Will defin
We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range anxiety. We look forward to staying here again.
Glen Gordon Manor is a very beautiful and luxurious hotel in the old English style. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was more than perfect!
Great relaxing former hunting lodge near to Shenandoah National park. Stayed in the Edward suite with private outdoor patio area and hot tub. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms and pool. Would definitely recommend
The property was breathtakingly beautiful. We were greeted by smiling staff with a glass of champagne to be shown around the main house. Our room was just steps from the lobby and dining areas which was convenient, however, we did have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time as all our windows (including the bathroom) faced the front parking lot. Additionally, this did not provide the most privacy as the doors/walls are very thin so you can hear most anything outside your room. It was quiet, however, so we were not very bothered by outside noises.
The food was just exquisite. Breakfast service was immaculate, we really enjoyed the Eggs Florentine. Dinner service was so enjoyable. Our waitress was bubbly, humorous, and made the experience even more special. We enjoyed Chef Dayn’s attention to detail and creativity within each dish. The baby fennel salad was something I couldn’t have even dreamed of, every bite gave a different experience for your palate. I enjoyed the wine pairing as well. The gave ample time between courses to savor and take a breath. The coconut Bavarian dessert ended the night off just perfectly, it was so thoughtful and refreshing.
I am eager to come back to visit for each of the seasons to experience not only the property in all its glory, but the cuisine as well. Thank you so much for the exceptional experience, we will certainly be back and have already recommended to friends + family.
We stayed in the Wallis Suite and it's lovely with a nice bedroom and large dressing/sink area that has a beautiful wood floor and then a bathroom with heated floor and nice large shower with waterfall and traditional shower heads. Oh and a great claw-foot tub for bathing in the dressing area. The Sonos sound system is amazing with Bose speakers over the bed and in the dressing area. The grounds are great too - enjoyed watching the chickens and horses and sharing wine in the screened-in gazebo. Included breakfast is great with fresh eggs from the chickens. We saw our mint being picked moments before being served in our parfait. Dinner at the Houndstooth restaurant served by Chef Smith is not to be missed. Oh, and the introduction upon arrival giving us a brief tour and history accompanied by a glass of champagne let's you know the right away that you're in good hands for your entire stay. This is our second visit and will not be the last.
This is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms and the house are beautiful, so is the surroundings and the food was absolutly outstanding. We just loved it and hale already booked our next stay.
