"This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. The properties are located in a fairly quiet, leafy area, and it's only a 12-minute walk to the Guangming Road metro station, from where you can get to the centre of Shanghai in just over an hour....

"Breakfast and the Bistro were both excellent for choice and quality. The room was modern and comfortable on a corner with windows and a view on 2 sides which was lovely. We left a phone in the Taxi and the Hotel found the Taxi and had the phone delivered to us at the airport which was beyond expectation. Easy walk to Hongqiao Rail."

I took a paper cup to take some tea to my room after our breakfast at the hotel cafe, but a young tall waiter stopped me and told me that the paper cup is only for people who buy takeway.
