This is a magical place. It is hard to get to, especially during a snowstorm, so be aware. Make sure to get an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Other than that, communication with the staff/property manager/owner was great and they are very helpful. We had a great time!

These cottages are beautiful. I wish my group couldve stayed longer, but we were simply using it as a stopping point on our trip around Iceland's ring road. The setting is tranquil and the modern design and amenities are phenomenal. We really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub and the sauna after long days of hiking.

This is THE place to be quiet! With spectacular view surrounding the properties. Very pretty, comfortable. Bring food before settling in, you wont want to get out and anyway, there is nothing around. I recommend.

Great stay! Property is down a long gravel lane or snowy depending when you go 😃 Reception is easy to find & someone was waiting for us upon arrival, he took us straight to the accommodation and shown us around Really nice host, the property is stunning and we had no issues The hottub we got a little use of, as you really need to be there constantly putting wood in and with limited hours we were out majority of the day So although we got it to warm, we wish we had a little longer stay to have a day at the accommodation Couldn’t recommend anymore though! Great stay - we hope to return soon

Phenomenal location that allows a great view. The house is very modern and spacious and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. Kitchen could be better equipped. We were 6 people so we could only eat once and then had to wash up.

This was a spectacular stay. The rooms were very comfortable with space for luggage and clothes. The living room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities needed. The heated floors in the bathrooms were also a lovely surprise. The hot tub does take a while to turn on, so something to be prepared for, but enjoyable nonetheless. Would definitely come back here!

Great spot. Wonderful views, comfortable beds. Sauna was great, everything we needed. Hot tub did not get hot after 4 hours, and constant attention, just to cold out to get there with the set up. Everything else was great.

The property is more beautiful than advertised and the caretakers waited up for us, bypassing the check in time of 10pm. We were in the highlands and had no reception and I had messages from them asking where we were and if we were okay. When I did get reception, she informed me that check in time had passed but would make the exception and once we arrived, she took us to the home, opened it for us and gave us a tour. We regret not being able to spend more time because this was our favorite place on our whole vacation. It was serene, impeccable, and the landscape was breathtaking.

Beautiful and peaceful spot, quite off the beaten track. There’s a long road in but the host met us and took us to the apartment. He showed us around and explained how everything worked. The wood-fired hot tub was a cool experience but quite laborious taking 5 hrs to heat up and having the stock wood every hour as it was quite cold while we stayed here. The place is a little older and the bathroom was extremely unclean. The toilet, wall behind and floor still had the remnants of a previous quests diarrhea which was extremely gross. There were no extra towels (got only one each) or hand towels, blankets etc which was tricky over a multi-day stay with a hot tub. The coffee maker and kitchen amenities were ‘old school’ so the manual coffee experience wasn’t the best for us coffee lovers. Ground coffee was provided which was ok, no sugar and few spices etc. The beds were on the hard side, so if you like that, great. There’s a nice size space to hang out but the tv is very basic so don’t expect to use it for much. We didn’t get to see the Aurora while staying there but the large picture windows are beautiful and the views stunning! The host was very kind and communicative.
