"Ideal for a 1 night stay. May need to explain that when they say ‘breakfast included’, its a basket including cereals, croissants, biscuits and yoghurt. Not actually a hot breakfast or a breakfast menu in the pub. Lovely staff. Nice and clean room."

"After meeting our friends and spending an evening in Cambridge we returned to the crown and punchbowl for a night cap before bed and and found the bar was shut up and all staff had gone home. It was 10.45pm. So our evening ended quite abruptly. Our room which was on the first floor, was a little on the small side, with only a skyline window, and unfortunately the blind didn't keep the light out, so it was very bright at 5am. "I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. The meal at our function was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pub attacked next to the hotel was lovely We sat. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free.
