"We stayed at Heythrop Park over the Easter weekend. The hotel is beautiful and big. Our room was in a perfect location near in the North wing and we were very close to their spa facilities. "The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again "

"Excellent position in centre of town with free parking. Good size room and friendly staff. Sunday Roast meal was very good despite us arriving near end of serving time. Breakfast adequate and enjoyed. Only problem was the lumpy pillows which were uncomfortable and so didn’t sleep very well."

"This is an historic hotel and with that comes uneven floors and steep stairways with no lifts so it is not at all easy to carry your suitcase up and down. When you walk into the hotel it smells of fish. Also our room, while comfortable, was in need of a new clean coat of paint. The bathroom was newly refurbished with nice tile and the combination shower/tub was perfect. It would have been helpful to have updated USB outlets so we could charge our electronic devices more efficiently."

"Very nice hotel in an historic building. Comfy bed, room was well stocked with everything you would need. Located 2 mins from the town centre with a good selection of restaurants. The breakfast was very good, excellent vegan options too. The staff were very friendly, particularly the lady who served us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very welcoming. Great value for money and would highly recommend."

"I would not recommend this property which I will explain below. When you arrive at the property you go through a corridor to a courtyard that has 4 rooms. The courtyard was nice but unfortunately it is all gravel which makes pulling suitcases difficult. The twin room is called the Hobbit Hole and it truly is.
