"Very basic motel, but extremely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were simple but clean and each has a turntable! In the lobby there is a large collection of vinyl that you can borrow. Thanks!"

The bathroom barely worked (it would flicker for a minute before turning on), there was no AC, no refrigerator (so we had to throw out our leftovers from the Roosevelt Dining Room, and there was no TV. Overall, I love the actual lodge, but that room was SO unbelievably overpriced for what we actually ended up getting. "

"I’ve stayed here before. This time on 3rd floor the traffic was louder than when I was on 2nd floor. Oyster Bay is sweet and convenient to the highway. I like the feeling of an older property that is still cared for, family owned."

It offers free soup and salad nightly for its guests and has fairly decent happy hour and drink selections. It has a workout room and indoor pool and is located near a number of dining establishments. There is also a mall nearby."

"I never felt comfortable here. It’s the kind of place where dudes stand on the railing outside their room and smoke and play music. The exterior needs work and updates. The room was sufficient and clean but I kept waiting for bedbugs and roaches (only the latter appeared). There were dogs outside and barking by 6:45 am. It was cheap and convenient for one night, but I wouldn’t go back. The parking lot was FULL by the end of the day so I guess it’s well received enough to fill up. Your call!"
